Ok, So i stand corrected, and it was a biggie. I actually do have 2 favorites. ( I hate it when i have to backtrack my story)
First, without a doubt and without fail, my momma K makes hands down the best Fried Chicken and Gravy i have EVER tasted. It is a must for my Bday dinner. SO that is Favorite number 1.
Favorite number 2 is my BF Tara's Chocolate Chip Cookies. She is the ultimate in chocolate chip cookie making....no one and I mean no one holds a candle to her scrumdidlyumcious cookies! Whenever i go to her house, i usually say hi, how are you...did you make cookies...NO JOKE.
Anyway, just some useless information that took up about 2 minutes of your time...Carry on.

Passion
So anyone who really knows me, know that I don't have a favorite anything, but I am passionate about certain things. First and foremost, Jesus. What he has done in my life, is nothing short of amazing, and miraculous. I am so not worthy of any of it. But He saw through the muck and saved me anyway.
Second, is my family. Oh my goodness I love love LOVE them. Can't say that enough.
Third, music. It saved my life more times than I would like to admit.
Fourth, Pictures. This is huge. Taking them, making them, creating them. If my house ever caught on fire, we have a family plan that says grab the kids and my external Hard Drive and get them to a safe place. Seriously though, I would save my girls above any of it, but if it was easy to get to, it would be in my hands!
Each picture to me is a key to a box of moments to unlatch and capture the atmosphere and smell of that very time. There is a picture of myself and Cambria where she was bathed and lotioned and smelling so good. I remember laying on the couch with her and talking and suddenly with those big round brown eyes, she smiled the sweetest grin I have ever seen. I love that picture. Because that same sweet smile is what I have come to love to see today. I also have a picture of Casi, where she is in my favorite spring dress. She was about 6 months old and propped against a tree and It was the first time that I realized, that when Casi smiles...She smiles from the top of her head down to her toes. If you can imagine, her ears perk up and eyebrows are arched and every ounce of her body is anticipating this one grin. Again, its the same smile that I see today. I have created memories for myself and others for over 15 years with my Canon and I love every moment of it. Periodically, I'll post some of my favorites along with stories. It is truly the gift that continues to give...

What a weekend...
So, I'm fairly new to all this, but I find myself always thinking of my next post. Great, this is my second time of posting and I'm already consumed by it. This weekend wasn't all that exciting, but you know you have those little events that happen that normally just don't...
Turns out that my daughter had Strep, no biggie...until she had her panic attack. I didn't know 7 year old's could even do that! But she over heard me speaking to one of my friends, and I said that her tonsils are so swollen, I'm a little afraid of her breathing. Well, she doesn't miss a thing. Next thing I knew, I had a very shaken, pale face, heart beating a mile a minute, getting ready to throw up TRAIN WREAK! At one point, her eyes actually rolled to the back of head like she was going to pass out...YIKES! Not really knowing what to do, I ran her to the bathroom just in case we were going to have a puke episode. When she said she was fine, but she was still trembling, I took her to the couch and held a blanket over her to keep her warm. We prayed and talked, and I reassured her that she was not going to stop breathing. The whole thing for some reason made me a nervous wreak. I never want to see my daughter ever worry about her life, but if anything good is coming out of this, she is really learning how to let Jesus be her comforter. She kept saying as I was holding her "peace be still". She was taught that when she was younger how to handle the storms and the thunder and lightning by saying that phrase. Now, its her security blanket. I find myself saying it alot too when it seems hard to breath, or when the storms come and they seem to linger longer than I like them too. In the past few weeks I have really clung to God's promise that we are to be strong and courageous. Its not easy, but I have a God that I serve that know's my every need before I do. So for right now, that's my security blanket.
As for the rest of the weekend, it was great until our blackout on our block. Somehow a power line caught on fire and all the technicians would tell us was " it could take a few hours"...Gee, thanks. So If you know anything about living in the country it means...NO water, heat, lights etc. The biggie was no water, which means no toilet. Well, let me back up. We were allowed one flush each before we would loose pressure..so as Rob said...Make your visit count when you go! LOL I missed being at church this morning, but sleeping in was WONDERFUL.
Well, I need to turn in. Rob is watching Clint Eastwood...BORING!!! But at least Ill go to sleep : )

I drank the Kool Aid...
I can't believe I am actually doing this. I fell into the peer pressure and drank the poisonous vile people call Blogging. What on earth have I done!!?? With all kidding aside(kinda), I am somewhat excited about doing this. I have always wanted to try it, but like I feared before,"what in the world would I say, and WHO WOULD CARE?" Well, no more. I have free fallen into this world and there's no turning back.
I have a few of my friends who blog, and I'm always in awe of what they choose to talk about. Sometimes its about shoes, or a good camera shot, or even a new craft, or recipe. But I'm always anticipating the next post! That's where they getcha! HOOK LINE AND SINKER BABY.
So this blog will be about our unscripted life. Things my girls say, things we do, good buys, good friends, or just how our day went belly up. Enjoy my friends, new and old and leave comments or whatever. I'm just impressed you stopped by to see what we had to say ; )
