Do you ever get a feeling that you were meant to do more than what you are doing...right at this very sec? That's how I feel right now. I have these feelings every once in a while and the more I stew about it, the more down I get. Maybe because I feel very out of control when I get these feelings. I'm usually very spontaneous, but on my terms. But becoming a mom has made me more of a planner. So I don't like surprises. Life changing surprises. I want to know what, when, where and how...as in... how much did that cost us? I'm just longing for... more. Don't misunderstand me. I am in love with my family, and my job as a mother is rewarding in so many ways... I've lost count of the blessings. But its deeper than that. I had a good cry on the phone this morning with my mom about being so frustrated that I want to know so badly what He has waiting for us. My chest feels sometimes as if I'm going to explode waiting to hear from Him. My old plan has always been, "well, this would honor God, so this must be the route he wants us to go" only to find out, that had I waited, the road had been to the same destination, but the route would have been a little easier...or better yet, waiting would have gotten us much better results. I learned that lesson a few months ago. I continue to remind myself to be still and know that He is God. He is God of the universe. He knew me before I drew a single breath.
I am created in His likeness. His love is deeper than a human mind will ever understand. Yet after all these things that I know in my heart, I want Him to do things my way. How human of me. Yet, after I say all these things, I hear as only a heavenly Father can say..."wait for me." All I can say as only I can say it...ok... but its hard.

Holy coupon cutting Batman!

So, I have always tried to shop with coupons, but for some reason I have a hard time just making it worth my while. Since I have become a blooger, pronounced "bluu-ger(its what my daughter calls me), I have learned that many are saving lots of money and even getting money BACK if they used their coupons creatively. This caught my attention and then...it was ON!
So I am a cutting and printing coupon fool. This past weekend I went to Kmart for their double coupon day and bought $28.00 worth of product for just about $16.00!!! To me, that's huge b/c I never save that much. I also went to Walgreen's and bought $15.00 worth of product for only $3.18!! I'm pretty pumped and I think I'm going to start doing this on a regular basis. I didn't think I would enjoy doing this, but its all about the thrill of the kill! If I remember, Ill post pictures next time I'm on here again.
I also had a great buying day at Goodwill, but that's for another post...

HAPPY TAX DAY

April 15th. Its a love hate date. You hate it when you have to pay and you love it when you get "mo money". That was us this year. Getting the dough. There is SO much i wanted to spend it on, but we wisely(no fun), got ourselves about 90% out of debt. We still owe on our home and a stupid loan for a truck we don't own when we were doing FEXGround. I cant believe how freeing it is to get them paid off. Its like this stupid monkey on your back that will not leave you alone. It is such a relief. On the same note, have you seen our Nations debt...YIKES! Its soo bad and going up by the minute. Today marked the APR. 15 Tea Partys. I love that people are finally showing some care about what the government is doing with OUR MONEY. They are taxing us to death for their mistakes...UNACCEPTABLE. I wanted so badly to go to these ralleys...Even if the tax ralley's do nothing, At least our voice will be heard and we wont be the ones saying"I dont know what i can do, Im just one person" UGH! Get out of rainbows and unicorn lives people...we are losing our freedom one day at a time...

Free (almost) Bakeware!

This is from another blog I have subscribe too...it really does work...

I signed up for this freebie last month and wanted to make sure it was legit before I posted. I just receive two muffin pans and only had to pay $1 shipping/per item! You do have to sign up for a "special offer" to get the $1 shipping on your free items but as long as you call the toll free number within 7 days you will not be charged. I signed up and just called the next day and canceled my membership on an automated system. I didn't even have to talk to a live person and my account was never charged. So easy! You can complete two offers so make sure to go back and choose another item. I just ordered my third free item today. I think they reset every month. I haven't cooked with these yet but for a $1 who cares? There are multiple free item options: pans, cookie sheets, aprons, etc! EasyBakeware.com

Happy Hump Day

Glad Tuesday is over. Started out misplacing my keys right before taking the kids to school. Of course this is the day that the Kindergartners will have some kind of test, that they have asked the parents to bring the kids in on time and a little early. WE have never been late, which is amazing being that I'm late to everything. I got Casi in 1 minute before 8. Guess she wasn't late. But the stress...ugh, not a good way to start off the morning. Mixed words with a lady at Wal-mart. Couldn't find a shirt to go with Casi's Easter outfit. I think im going back to Target, i saw something there i liked...hopefully she will too. Had to change out Cambria's shirt she got for Easter...she informed me that she doesnt like polka-dots...what! are you my daughter??? I love Polka!
I cant figure out what to wear, but what else is new.
Starting my Taebo workouts tomorrow. I gotta look good for Tara's wedding in FL. Esp. if we are on a beach. Plus marci is getting married next year...I hate being the fat Matron.

Spring Break

The kids and I went to Chicago on Friday morning and stayed overnight with my sister. I had an opportunity to visit IKEA( a new love I discovered in Sept.) and visit one of the goodwill's there. I didn't buy very much, but I wanted too!! IKEA is not a good store for me, b/c I see things I normally don't on a regular basis and while i have done just fine without it, I get this overwhelming fixation and determination that I must have one because....well, just cuz. So after walking around for 2 hours(which isn't hard to do, its a huge store), I only spent $25 and $10 of it was a gift. If you are in the Schaumberg area(a burb of Chicago), you should visit it at least once. The prices are very reasonable, in fact sometimes quite the steal, so I'm sure you won't leave empty handed.
After that, checked out the Goodwill. It was quite different than any I had been in. It was set up more like a Boutique than a rummage sale. Everything was sorted by size, and not color and they only have (2) half off days... HUGE DIFFERENCE. I find they are much pickier with what they choose to sell, and they choose their own price. I didn't see anything over $10, except for a name brand purse they had marked $20. They had a great selection of shoes, so I did walk away with some beige heals that I really liked. I'm really rocking the snake skin right now, so when I saw the gray, with silver and light pink accented snake heels, I think my heart skipped a beat. They were gorgeous! But since I have boat feet, there was no way i could even get away with wearing them without losing toes in the process. Oh well, maybe we'll cross paths again down the road(sigh).

On the way home Sat. night we stopped and looked at the windmills located near Earl Park. They are incredible. Worth the trip to see them at least once.

Well, its Monday...time to do laundry, and clean house.
